Master Meter has been recognized by Evergreen Recycling for its outstanding achievement in recycling in 2020. Over the last several years our leadership team has implemented a series of initiatives to bring environmental stewardship into the daily culture of our operations. This includes battery recycling drop boxes in several highly visible areas, potential wind and solar power investments, recycling throughout our offices, and paper recycling. It is this last area that has garnered Master Meter recognition.
Last year in 2020, Master Meter has recycled 72 TONS of PAPER with the following impact on the environment;
- Saved 1,224 TREES
- Saved 504,000 GALLONS OF WATER
- Eliminated 4,200 LBS. OF AIR POLLUTION
- Saved 295,200 KW HOURS OF ELECTRICITY
- Eliminated 216 CU YDS. OF LANDFILL
